In August, 2004 my truck was chosen as the winner of a $10,000+ truck makeover sponsored by ChuxTrux and KC Metro Sports. I had no idea what they were going to do to the truck, they talked to me, got some ideas what I liked and then took the truck away - not to be seen again for three weeks. I would like to take a moment to thank ChuxTrux for an AWESOME job, for listening to me and being the sort of folks that know not every vehicle needs spinners and neon. Thanks to KC Metro Sports for putting on this contest. Thanks to everyone at DST and DSTO, friends, family, acquaintances and happeners-by who voted for my truck in the contest. Thanks most of all to my wife who not only put up with me getting up at all hours of the night to check the voting progress for 2 weeks, and for changing her schedule to get me to work for 3 weeks while my truck was away being pampered. Thanks also to Ryan for the great "After" shots. |
